Crypto.com in Europe: App Costs, CRO Rewards and the Referral Choice

Last checked: 4 October 2026. Scope: the Crypto.com App for European readers; Exchange, cards and country-specific offers require separate checks. This is a review of public documents, not a hands-on trading or withdrawal test. Cryptoassets can lose value; this is general information.
Crypto.com makes sense to consider when you want an app-based crypto workflow and can justify its actual quoted costs without a reward. If your main goal is inexpensive order-book trading, compare the Exchange or competing spot services separately. A CRO reward should follow your platform decision, not create it.

Which company and which product?
The ESMA CASP file downloaded on 4 October lists Foris DAX MT Limited under Crypto.com, with Malta as its home state and no end date recorded in that entry. Reconcile that company with your own account contract. This finding does not establish card-service coverage, universal European onboarding or protection against loss. Check the official register.
Write down whether your intended action is an App purchase, an Exchange order, a card transaction or a transfer to a personal wallet. A fee for one of these actions cannot answer the cost of another. Identify your residence and the service in the account before comparing a global marketing page.
Compare the entire transaction
For a purchase, record euros paid, crypto units received, payment charges and the final destination. For a sale, record net euros received. For an external crypto transfer, include the chosen asset and network, minimum transfer and displayed withdrawal fee. Use the live confirmation screen; a headline trading percentage alone cannot establish the delivered price.
For the App's EUR bank withdrawal route, the official help page requires a prior successful EUR deposit and lists an €80 minimum and €1 fee. Its processing description is not a timing guarantee for your account. Read the EUR withdrawal procedure.
Hypothetical arithmetic: if the only applicable bank-withdrawal charge were €1, withdrawing €100 would leave €99. That is not a quote for buying, selling or moving crypto, and it does not include any earlier conversion cost. A balance below the withdrawal minimum can matter more than a small difference in advertised fees.
CRO rewards: separate the country and the deadline
The official App referral page places France in country Tier 2, listing up to $65 in trading rewards and a separate $25 Level Up reward. Eligibility depends on qualifying activity within 30 days of KYC approval; stocks and stablecoins are excluded. Rewards paid in CRO use the provider's conversion rate. Welcome and referral routes are mutually exclusive. Read the current programme mechanics.
TRM's earlier French in-app observation of up to €90 dates to 9 August 2026. It is historical account evidence, not a new October quote or a Europe-wide offer. Do not translate the public dollar amounts into a guaranteed euro reward, add welcome and referral bonuses together, or treat token value as withdrawable cash.
A higher reward threshold is not an instruction to trade more. Compare activity you already intended to perform with its costs and risks. If reaching a milestone requires unwanted trades, a paid subscription or a CRO commitment you would otherwise avoid, skipping the reward can be the better decision.
Why the commercial channel matters
The published personal-referral terms restrict commercial use and publishing codes on websites or marketing material. They take priority over conflicting FAQs. This is why we explain the programme without promoting our personal code here. Read the referral terms. A separate official affiliate programme exists; its existence does not establish TRM approval or contractual scope.
A practical decision and exit record
Before funding, save your country, contracting company, product, intended asset, funding method, final destination and quoted total. Record the reward route separately, including its form and expiry. Check how you would sell, withdraw to your bank or transfer to another wallet. Resolve any essential unknown before committing funds.
Consider Crypto.com if that complete route fits your requirements without a bonus. Compare alternatives if you chiefly need frequent spot trading, a particular withdrawal network or a simpler exit. Choose neither if the custody responsibility, potential loss or required commitment is unsuitable.
Questions European readers ask
Is the App the same as the Exchange? Treat them as separate transaction routes and check each route's costs. A rate quoted for an Exchange order does not establish an App purchase price.
Is the French €90 observation a current European offer? No. It is a dated French account observation; current eligibility and the live offer need a new check.
Should I choose by the largest reward? Only after the service fits. Compare certain costs separately from a conditional token benefit.
What could change the decision?
Over six to twenty-four months, changes to quotes, CRO rewards, subscription conditions or withdrawal routes could reverse a comparison. That is a scenario, not a forecast. Keep the transaction record so you can compare the same endpoint again when material terms change.
