Bybit EU: Spot Fees, Referral Conditions and Welcome Rewards

Last checked: 4 October 2026. Scope: Bybit EU, spot costs and European reward programmes. Public-document review; no trading, referral payout or withdrawal was tested. Cryptoassets can lose value, including stablecoins. This is general information.
Bybit EU is worth comparing if you want a European spot service and its account-specific costs and withdrawal route fit your needs without a reward. The referral and welcome programmes are different choices. For a new user seeking a modest first transaction, the headline “up to 30 USDC” hides important differences in reward form, volume and deadlines.
Commercial disclosure: the link in this guide is TRM's personal referral link. Eligible activity may reward both the referred user and the referrer, and qualified activity may generate referrer commissions. No payout, account eligibility or approved affiliate relationship is established here. TRM is an independent publisher and does not act for Bybit EU.
Start with the European entity
The ESMA CASP file downloaded on 4 October lists Bybit EU GmbH, Austria/FMA, with no end date recorded for its entry. Reconcile your account contract, residence and requested service with the register. Do not infer access to global Bybit products from that finding. Open the official register.
Fees change on 5 October 2026
For the published VIP 0 tier below €10,000 in 30-day spot volume, before the change the crypto-pair maker/taker rates are 0.10%/0.25%; fiat/crypto pairs are 0.15%/0.25%. From 5 October at 11:00 UTC, the schedule announces a unified 0.25% for that tier. Other tiers differ; the account's My Fee Rate controls. Read the fee schedule.
Hypothetical order-only example: on €1,000, 0.10% is €1, 0.15% is €1.50 and 0.25% is €2.50. These calculations exclude funding, spread, execution differences and withdrawal. A limit order is not automatically a maker execution. Never compare this fee with an instant-buy quote as if both were the same transaction.
Referral route: the actual tasks
The programme effective 16 September requires a net top-up of $100 and $100 of eligible spot trading within 15 days for a 5 USDC airdrop to each party. Another $50,000 spot-volume milestone within 30 days gives 25 USDC each. EEA residents excluding Malta need verified onboarding. Internal transfers and zero-fee trades do not qualify. Read the referral announcement and terms.
Net deposits account for withdrawals; eligibility concerns executed qualifying trades. Rewards remain conditional. The terms prohibit advertisements using the brand name or logo and acting on the company's behalf; referral and affiliate programmes cannot be combined. No permission for paid advertising is inferred from this independent guide.
Do not generate $50,000 of volume just to chase 25 USDC. As an independent hypothetical calculation, even a 0.25% rate would produce $125 of order fees on $50,000 of trading, before other costs or market changes. Your fee tier can differ, but a large volume requirement is not free money.
Welcome route: a fee saver is not an airdrop
The welcome programme excludes signup through referral links or codes. Within 15 days, its €100 top-up task gives a 5 USDC Fee Saver; €500 of eligible volume adds another 5 USDC Fee Saver; €20,000 of volume adds a 20 USDC airdrop. A Fee Saver offsets eligible fees rather than establishing withdrawable cash. Compare the welcome terms.
Decide which route fits the activity you would undertake anyway before signing up. Do not add the two programmes' advertised totals together. The reward's form, eligible usage and claim requirements matter as much as its number.
TRM's Bybit EU referral link
If the service and referral route fit your decision after these checks, this is the publisher's link: Bybit EU — TRM referral link. Code: Q8Z8ADO. Check the actual signup page, country eligibility and current task screen before registering. Using this route can exclude the welcome programme. There is no guaranteed bonus or guaranteed return.
For an alternative without a referral signup, consult the official welcome programme above. Keeping an existing suitable platform or opening no account remains an option.
Check the exit before funding
Record the asset and withdrawal network you need, funding costs, displayed withdrawal fee, minimum, account controls and destination. Compare the net result of an identical transaction against alternatives. A supported network or account-specific withdrawal quote has not been tested by TRM in this guide; resolve it directly before relying on it.
Consider Bybit EU when eligibility and the complete route fit independently of the reward. Compare another platform if the desired network, quote or account restrictions do not fit. Avoid the reward if it requires unwanted trading or prevents an intended withdrawal.
Questions before signup
Can I receive both welcome and referral rewards? The welcome rules exclude users registered through a referral link or code. Choose the route before signup.
Is 30 USDC necessarily cash? No. The welcome maximum mixes fee-saving credits and an airdrop; the referral tasks have different requirements.
Does the global Bybit website establish EU product availability? No. Verify the EU company, local contract and service.
A future-proof comparison record
The announced fee transition is a concrete reason to date your calculation. Over six to twenty-four months, fees, eligibility and task design could change again; that is a scenario rather than a prediction. Recheck the same transaction and destination when terms change.
