Marketing advice for founders, creators and small businesses with limited time and budget. The Rebel Marketer’s consulting helps you understand your visibility, make a better decision, build a practical action plan or solve a specific marketing challenge.

Advice by written quotation. The four formats below help define your request. Each mission is assessed individually for fit and availability. Scope, fee, delivery date and terms are confirmed in a written proposal before you commit.

Find the advice you need

  • REBEL SIGNAL — Understand how search and AI systems represent your business.

  • REBEL THINK — Get an independent second opinion on one marketing decision.

  • REBEL MOVE — Build a focused action plan for the next 30 days.

  • CUSTOM REBEL ADVISORY — Shape a strategy around your particular challenge and resources.

A red pencil draws a path around a green obstacle on ivory paper, illustrating a deliberate change of marketing direction.

01 / REBEL SIGNAL

Search & AI visibility diagnostic

Can people—and the systems answering their questions—understand who you are, what you offer and why your business is relevant? SIGNAL is designed to reveal what is visible, unclear or missing.

A green magnifying lens frames a paper house with a red dot, symbolizing a clearly identifiable business.

Best fit: You have a public website and need a grounded view of how your business is represented.

What your proposal can include: A dated, source-referenced visibility diagnostic:

  • An identity and clarity check for your brand and website.

  • Up to three evidence-backed findings, with uncertainties made explicit.

  • Three prioritized corrections or tests to address the most useful gaps.

Scope to confirm in your quotation: One business, one primary website, one language and market; up to eight representative questions across up to two available answer systems. A bounded snapshot, rather than ongoing monitoring or a full technical SEO audit.

Use it to: Identify the evidence or explanation to improve before publishing more content.

02 / REBEL THINK

A strategic second opinion

A new channel? A different message? A change of positioning? THINK is designed to help you choose between realistic options before committing money and effort.

Best fit: One defined marketing decision is holding you back.

What your proposal can include: A focused written decision brief:

  • The usual recommendation compared with one or two viable alternatives.

  • A reasoned choice, its strongest objection and a fallback option.

  • The missing evidence that matters most, plus a sensible next test.

Scope to confirm in your quotation: One decision about positioning, messaging, channels or acquisition. Broader research and implementation require a separate scope.

Use it to: Choose with a clear view of the trade-offs—and know what would make you reconsider.

03 / REBEL MOVE

Your next 30 days, in order

A strategy only becomes useful when it fits the time, money and skills available. MOVE is designed to turn one marketing objective into a manageable sequence of actions.

Three green paper steps and a red flag on the first step symbolize a manageable sequence of marketing actions.

Best fit: You know the goal but need to decide what to do first, next and later.

What your proposal can include: A written action roadmap:

  • Up to seven prioritized actions across no more than two channels.

  • A sequence, suggested ownership, effort and cash-cost estimates.

  • Progress signals, a low-risk experiment and rules to continue, change or stop.

Scope to confirm in your quotation: One objective over a 30-day planning horizon. Campaign management, publishing, website changes and advertising spend are separate.

Use it to: Concentrate your resources on work you can actually carry out.

04 / CUSTOM REBEL ADVISORY

Marketing strategy built around your constraints

Some challenges need a tailored answer. CUSTOM covers bounded consulting on positioning, offer differentiation, digital strategy, content, organic acquisition, partnerships, SEO and AI discoverability, or responsible guerrilla marketing.

Specialty: REBEL LEAN GROWTH. Creative marketing for limited budgets, starting with assets you already have: expertise, useful content, customer questions, relationships and overlooked distribution opportunities.

What your proposal can include: Defined in the written proposal: for example, a focused positioning brief, campaign concepts or a 30–90-day lean marketing plan.

Scope to confirm in your quotation: The proposal states the objective, outputs, fees, timing, revisions and responsibilities. Any implementation is agreed separately.

Use it to: Solve a specific problem without squeezing it into the wrong format.

Why The Rebel Marketer?

Founded in October 2018 by Jacques-Louis Kreiss, The Rebel Marketer is an independent publishing and marketing intelligence organization. The advisory approach applies the same emphasis on evidence, independent judgment and practical next steps.

The Rebel Lens starts with the usual recommendation, questions the assumption behind it, then identifies a defensible next move. Creativity earns its place by helping solve the problem. A sound conventional approach can still win.

What that looks like

Illustrative example, not a client result: A local specialist gets website visits but few enquiries. Before buying more traffic, check whether the page clearly names the service, customer and next step. Test a clearer offer against the existing baseline, then review qualified enquiries. If they do not improve, revisit the hypothesis.

The value of advice is the decision it helps you make: which evidence matters, which assumption deserves testing and where your next hour or euro is best used.

A simple way to start

  1. Write with your business or website, target customer, main question and practical constraints.

  2. We assess which advisory format fits—or whether a narrower scope makes more sense.

  3. Before paid work can begin, availability, deliverables, price, timing and terms must be confirmed and accepted in writing.

The workflow is entirely written. No mandatory phone or video meeting. AI can assist research and drafting; material facts and recommendations receive proportionate review.

REBEL ALLIES / Personal introductions

REBEL ALLIES is a referral program under development. Its proposed model starts with the prospect’s prior agreement, followed by a personal email from the introducer to both the prospect and TRM. Naming a referrer retrospectively would not qualify.

Any future commission would concern the first eligible service purchased and paid for, under terms agreed beforehand. The program is not active: no commission or rate is currently offered. Please do not make introductions in expectation of payment.

Questions before you enquire

Which service should I start with?

Choose SIGNAL for a visibility snapshot, THINK for one decision, MOVE for an action sequence and CUSTOM for a tailored challenge. You do not need to buy all four.

What does it cost?

Each engagement is priced by written quotation. Your proposal states the fee, scope, delivery date, revisions and any separate costs before acceptance. Availability is confirmed for each mission.

Can you guarantee Google rankings or AI recommendations?

No. SIGNAL provides dated observations and practical next steps. Search placement, AI mentions and sales depend on systems and circumstances outside our control.

Do you carry out the plan?

SIGNAL, THINK and MOVE are advisory outputs. Any execution must be separately scoped and agreed.

Bring one question. Let’s find the useful next move.

Tell us what you want to achieve, what is blocking you and which resource you need to protect. Ask for a written proposal, with scope and availability assessed around your needs.
